Challenge:

Drybar had a limited IT staff, with a growing number of retail stores and an expanding product line. Although they were already leveraging Amazon Web Services to process customer data and purchase history, the existing solution had long been outgrown. Business reports and investigating business trends had become a slow process, with users waiting as long as 10 minutes for large queries.

Solution:

SHI migrated the existing database and data intake process to a scalable Data Warehouse (Amazon Redshift) and serverless ETL process using Lambda. The new solution accelerated data analytics with large query reduction down to 37 seconds saving time and helping identify the most valuable upsell motions.
